What’s new in Thao Dien in 2026? Mostly one street: Dang Huu Pho gained 0123 Complex (designer fashion), Miyama The Garden and a second Chidori Crepe. Add later weekend metro hours and a change at 34 Nguyen Duy Hieu — the 120-minute perfume sessions by NOTE – The Scent Lab are now booked on 9base (the9base.com), from $25.92 VAT included.

What opened on Dang Huu Pho Street?
Three neighbours within a few house numbers: 0123 Complex at No. 06, Miyama The Garden at 4A and Chidori Crepe at 04. One is for browsing, two are for long lunches in garden villas.
0123 Complex, 06 Dang Huu Pho
A multi-storey house converted into independent designer clothing and lifestyle accessories, with a café on site (pinguide, October 2026). Locals now list it alongside Thao Dien’s other fashion compounds. We found no reliable opening hours, so check its social page first.
Miyama The Garden, 4A Dang Huu Pho
Miyama calls itself “A Modern Tokyo Restaurant Cafe” and its Thao Dien branch “where Tokyo modernism meets the greenery of Thao Dien”. The first café is in Saigon Centre, District 1; this second branch opened in 2026 in a whole garden villa with glass and timber interiors. Published hours differ between sources.
Chidori Crepe, 04 Dang Huu Pho
The brand’s blog calls it Chidori’s twelfth location and Chidori Crepe’s second home in Thao Dien; the original café stays at 2/28 Vo Truong Toan. The official site lists 8:30–20:30 on weekdays and 8:00–21:00 at weekends.
Which established ramen spot is worth knowing?
Not new, but often recommended: Shinsho Ramen, in alley 30 Nguyen Dang Giai. A March 2026 review describes a roomy, minimal space and three styles — soup, dry and dipping — with a choice of noodle firmness and broth strength. Hours and prices: check the shop’s own page.

Has the metro to Thao Dien changed in 2026?
Yes, at weekends. From 2 January 2026, Metro Line 1 runs 5:00–22:00 Monday to Thursday and 5:00–23:00 Friday to Sunday (VOH, 24 December 2025) — an extra hour for a Saturday dinner before the last train. What changed at 34 Nguyen Duy Hieu?
The building is the same — R Parfums niche perfume showroom and a perfume studio under one roof — but booking and one of the brands have news.
Perfume sessions are booked on 9base
Sessions by NOTE – The Scent Lab are now booked on 9base, its custom perfume studio. Thao Dien seats up to 15 per session, against 8 at Nguyen Hue and 12 at Ly Tu Trong: one long blending desk, a cabinet of 30+ raw materials across nine scent families, open 08:00–18:00 daily. The two District 1 studios (Floor 2, 42 Nguyen Hue; Floor 3, 26 Ly Tu Trong) open 09:00–22:00.

In April 2026, R Parfums brought seven scents to the Notes Shanghai 2026 fair under a line that translates as “every creation is a chapter of memory” (read the R Parfums story).
